Can we incorporate Fierce into our existing training curriculum?

Yes, we make existing training programs better! Fierce is about getting results, reality, provoking learning, tackling tough challenges, and building relationships through the art and craft of conversation.” Fierce was developed for global challenges of organizations today. We can stand beside your current programs and probably can replace some of them as well.

What’s the time commitment?

This training is a four-day, in-person experience. The first 2 days are an in-person workshop – Fierce content trained by a Master Facilitator. The second 2 days are teach backs and feedback. In total you receive 30 hours of interactive sessions. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm.

Who is the trainer certification for?

Trainer Certification is for anyone within your organization who has both the skill and bandwidth to offer Fierce Conversations to your employees. Public speaking and training background is ideal. L&D or HR business partners are often highly effective, given that they are part of larger organizational learning efforts. Managers and leaders heighten Fierce buy-in when certified to train, as well. Talk with us more about the qualities and characteristics that make for excellent Fierce facilitators.

What's it going to take to be successfully certified?

Two distinct components are considered when determining certification: content and delivery. Confidence and competence with Fierce content makes all the difference for your future learners. Delivery should be at a level that enables high engagement, buy-in, and ultimately personal and organizational change and growth! Fierce is committed to strengthening both of these components with and for you during the TTT experience itself.

What's required to receive full certification?
  • Effective preparation prior to attendance at the OE/TTT (approximately 30 hours.) 
  • Successful delivery of two pieces of pre-assigned Fierce content. 
  • Evaluation / certification by a Fierce Master Facilitator.
How much time should I spend prepping?

We recommend 30 hours of preparation. This is a ballpark – and representative of the average time our most successful certified trainers have spent getting ready. Break down what you need to know. Read it through. Practice it in chunks. Let the toolkit and slides support you. Then practice it again and again and again. Once you’ve registered, we’ll offer you even more resources to help you prepare successfully.

Is the experience supportive or scary?

It’s totally normal that you feel nervous. Believe me, all of us did, as well! And we know expectations are high: yours, your company’s, ours. Rest assured this entire process, every bit of feedback you receive, and even the certification level you receive is in support of you – and those who will eventually learn Fierce through you. Is it a lot? Yes! Is it worth it? Definitely!

Do I have to attend in person?

Yes. Our Training Certification program is a hands-on, interactive and in-person experience at one of our select locations across the US.

What does the TTT look like?

The TTT is a four-day experience with 2 full days of in-person workshops followed by 2 days of teach backs. It is feedback-rich, generous, and “safe.”

Do you provide meals?

Yes! Fierce will provide both breakfast and lunch on all four days of your training.

Any other expense?

Outside of the cost for the certification, you are responsible for your own travel and lodging expenses.
